Friends of Library Little Red Wagon provides community service

This week is National Library Week 2018 (April 8-14) so it’s a good opportunity to support the Carteret County Public Library in several ways.

The Friends of Carteret County Public Library operate the popular red book wagon. Located by old First Citizens Bank at the corner of Turner and Front Street, the book wagon is open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on Monday holidays.

Here’s your chance to shop for a fantastic assortment of books at low prices! Book sales are an important means of raising funds. Each group has a special “in-the-library” book sale where bestselling titles are offered at bargain prices. gently used books.

The Carteret County Public Library is fortunate to have active and dedicated Friends of the Library organization. The group supports the library with contributions for items and services such as audio books, the summer reading programs, adult education programs, additional equipment and furnishings, supplies, and supplemental materials.

If you would like to become a Friend of Carteret County Public Library, pick up a membership form located at the library.

Membership fees include: Junior (under age 12) $1, Adult $10, Patron $25, Sponsor $100, Contributor $250, Lifetime Member $500.
